The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office needs assistance locating a man seen on surveillance video taking money from the Fuel Stop 36 located on Highway 397 in Lake Charles.

According to a media release, deputies were called out on Monday, December 10, at approximately midnight in reference to a theft, where they learned a customer took money from his pocket and placed it on the counter while checking out. The customer accidentally left the money on the counter and left the store. A second customer is then seen at the counter on surveillance video "picking the money up and placing it in his pocket".

The suspect is described as "approximately 5’10” tall, weighing around 200 pounds with a thin full-face beard. In the video, he is wearing a red, black and white striped long sleeve shirt with a red cap".
