Established in 2003 – and based on the already popular “3^rd Coast Magazine” – 3^rd Coast Radio became the voice of the streets at its first impact.  Besides becoming the No. 1 Sunday night hit radio show, 3^rd Coast Radio became the most influential radio program in Lake Charles, spearheading the introduction of hip-hop and independents into mainstream radio and becoming the original source for big song premieres from today’s hottest artists, exclusive interviews and blazing Down South Hip-Hop.

In 2007, 3^rd Coast Radio made its best move by becoming a part of the 107 JAMZ family.  After two station changes, a parade of hosts, co-hosts and producers, 3^rd Coast Radio continues to be the voice of the city.  Whether it’s upcoming events, the freshest music, the hottest artists, or hearing a classic comic skit, 3^rd Coast Radio continues to be the heart of the community.
