Who knew Slim Thug was an author?  Recently the rapper penned an article in the New York Times, that will have you thinking twice about mixing business with pleasure.  H-Town's finest wrote a piece for the Times about a former relationship that left him with smaller pockets and damaged credit.

TheBoomBox reports Slim revealed intimate details about his life in the story.  Writing he wanted to sell his house, to buy another and enlisted the help of a realitor.  Somewhere down the line, the two started catching feelings and before he knew it, they were in a full blown relationship.

After a couple of years, the love fest went sour and that's when his money problems began.  The rapper wrote, before it was all said and done he lost his house to foreclosure, more than 200 grand and jacked his credit up all at the same time.

In the article Slim wrote, “I ended up in foreclosure. So not only did I lose out on money from a potential sale, but I ruined my credit as well,” he continued. “I’ve suffered financially from not being able to do business in my own name and probably lost around $200,000 directly and indirectly through my mistake.”

The rapper said the bad break, had it's lessons and helped manage his money a lot better.  I bet it did.  To read Slim Thugs entire article click here.
