Snoop's affinity for marijuana has been well-documented over the years. Because his love is so pronounced, a Canadian marijuana company called on his services to help spark change. Let's just say that the partnership has been booming.

After partnering up with Snoop Dogg, Canopy Growth Corp has witnessed their stocks rise significantly. According to The Globe and Mail, they have shot up 17 percent since teaming up with The Doggfather.

“What started for me in the 90s in Cali now has a home in places like Colorado, where real progress is being made," Snoop explained in a press release distributed by the company. “Leafs By Snoop is an expression of my experience with that culture over decades on the scene."

Through a partnership with their subsidiary company Tweed Inc, the products from Canopy are flying off the shelves, courtesy of Snoop.

“Snoop is much more than an artist, entertainer and entrepreneur. He’s also one of the most trusted voices in cannabis the world over. We’re welcoming a cannabis culture icon into the Canadian industry," said president of Tweed Inc, Mark Zekulin.

Snoop's newest products aptly titled Leafs by Snoop, will have three different marijuana strains including, “sunset, ocean view and palm tree CBD," which are all set to be released sometime this month.
