The weekend New Orleans, celebrates it's rebirth after the horrific devastation and loss Hurricane Katrina left in it's wake.  Today, the city continues to rebuild but has risen from the tragic event to stand as a testament that her people can not be broken.

Throughout the weekend there will be countless celebrations, art exhibits, and shows performed by both local and the worlds biggest stars.  From local and state dignitaries to the President of the United States, Barack Obama they all have are in New Orleans to commemorate the 10-year anniversary of Hurricane Katrina.

Going down tonight attorney “Morris Bart Presents Lil WeezyAna Fest: Lil Wayne and Friends” festival, which will take place at Bold Sphere Music in Champions Square.  FYI the event will also stream live on Tidal.
Another big event going down tomorrow, is the show at the House of Blues.  Solange will headline a benefit concert teaming up with movie superstar Brad Pitt and his Make It Right Foundation.  Solo said of the Katrina 10 celebration, she's "honoring the rebirth of a vital and vibrant community, and celebrating the rebuilding progress across this remarkable city.”
Also on the show are NOLA-native Christian Scott and DJ Soul Sister and possibly a special guest or two...like Beyonce or Jay Z?  I wouldn't be surprised.  By the way, all proceeds from the Lil WeezAna Fest will also stay in New Orleans and will benefit various foundations to continue rebuilding the city.
