Sonic Drive-In Donates Car Seats To Families In Need, Sign-Up Now

If you or someone you know is in need of a car seat, here's an opportunity to get one free! In an effort to keep children safe in vehicles, Louisiana's Sonic Drive-In donated funds, for car seats to be purchased for families in need throughout the state.  A total of $55k was raised through the sale of 2016 “Tot” Calendars, at 147 Sonic Drive-In locations in Louisiana.

Thanks to Sonic Drive-In 1,800 car seats will be given away throughout the state to those in need. The car seat giveaway is a partnership between Sonic Drive-In, University Medical Center New Orleans, and the Louisiana Passenger Safety Task Force.

Car seats will only be given to families that apply, by submitting a simple application. The quickest and easiest way to sign-up, is online. Just click, here. Fill out the application, and submit it. That's it! There are no other requirements.

The date of the car seat giveaway is slated for Saturday September 23rd, 2017. The location and time will be announced at a later time. Families who've been selected to receive the free car seats will be notified. The original deadline was Thursday September 7, 2017, but the date has been extended to Friday September 15, 2017. So don't delay, sign-up now! Car seats will be given away on a first come, first serve basis while supplies last. Limit one car seat, per child. If you have more than one child in need of a car seat, submit an application for each child.
