Soulful Saturdays was a Success Over The Weekend

This past Saturday night the city was in the building for the first Grown Folks Soulful Saturday event that featured Till 1 and Lysa.

The crowd was in the building early to get their seats for the night and the DJ had the music playing all over the speakers with some of my favorites from Freddie Jackson and Maze.

The lights dimmed and Till 1 was introduced to take over the stage and when I tell you the ladies were standing up on the floor, they didn't sit down until the night was over. Till did a lot of the crowds favorites like "Ooh Baby", "Tonight's The Night" and also one of my personal favorites "Finest Thing".

Then the fellas had their turn to get up and party as Lysa took over the show with plenty of jams from her latest album. When I tell you the crowd partied into daylight savings time, they had a great time. Big shouts out to both of the talented individuals and the staff at Notta's Lounge and of course all of the party people who came through on Saturday night. Be on the lookout for more big things coming in the new year.
