Soulja Boy has reinvented himself literally and now rollin in tha dough. Back on May 1, he hit his 15 million-plus
Twitter followers up and announced he had just inked a deal with
World Poker Fund Holdings (WPFH) worth $400 million!  At first most people didn't take the 25-year rapper serious, but turns out he was telling the truth.

According to reports, Matthew Bird, a spokesman for World Poker confirmed his company made the monster deal with Soulja and took it a step further, saying their already reaping the benefits of it.  So what exactly can a rapper like Soulja Boy do for a company like World Poker?  Bird explained in a recent statement,

“The world of marketing is changing, today’s biggest influencers are not brands, but individuals who create content that drive loyalty and brand sentiment.

We no longer are fed content from major news networks — we seek it out and consume it by individual influencers that enrich our lifestyles.

Soulja Boy represents the best of the best and we are already seeing the impact from his presence.”

Another words, they want access to his followers and their money.  Talk about overnight success!  Soulja Boy's five-year, $400 million deal will allow the poker giant to utilize his 15 million-plus followers to promote the different assets they control online, including CelebrityWorld.com.  In addition the company plans promote their new and upcoming gaming platform, which will target the more than 3 billion global travelers who fly with any of the larger airlines.

Looks like Forbes is gonna have to change the order of their Richest Rappers list, cause Soulja Boy just entered the "Top 5."  For more on entertainment, tune into Tha Wire twice a day, every weekday at 12:50 p.m. and 3:35 p.m. only on The Peoples Station 107 Jamz.
