According to TMZSpike Lee has plans to host a rally in support of Colin Kaepernick on the steps of the NFL offices.  The displaced quarterback has yet to sign with a new team for the upcoming season, and it's leading many to believe he being black balled by the league for his refusal to stand during the national anthem during the 2016 season.

On Aug. 23, the "United We Stand Rally for Colin Kaepernick" will take place at 5 p.m., at 345 Park Avenue in New York. No further details have been revealed, but you can expect there will be a flood of people showing up in support.

We all know Kap isn't 100 percent at quarterback, in somewhat of a let down since he once held the position in San Fransico (49ers), but the guy is healthy and still has something to offer to a team. For Christ sake, the Dolphins brought Jay Cutler out of retirement and gave him $10 million for one season.

Last Kaepernick managed to finish with a record of 2,241 yards, 16 touchdowns, and 4 interceptions. It's safe to say he's not done yet. So far, only the Seattle Seahawks have given Kaepernick a shot in tryouts. Let's hope someone has some sense and at gives the man a shot at back up quarterback at least. Sheesh.
