Today in Tha Wire since 1986,  21 Grammy's, and 13 number one albums later Jay Z is still very much at the top of the rap game.  Fresh off the heels of being inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame, and welcoming twins days ahead of Father's Day, the 47-year old rap mogul is gearing up to drop his 17th album on June 30, 2017.  The LP entitled 4:44, will be Hov's 13th solo album, and his first solo project since droppin' Magna Carta Holy Grail, 2013.

Allhiphop reports Sprint president and CEO, Marcelo Claure, announced that it's an exciting time to be a Sprint customer.  The wireless giant has teamed up with Jay Z and his TIDAL streaming service, to give wireless customers and subscribers exclusive access to his forthcoming project.  Claure said Sprint/TIDAL customers will "be among the first to experience his new album 4:44.” he continued, “Our loyal, existing customers, and customers who switch to Sprint, can experience the album exclusively, plus access a complimentary six-month trial of Tidal HiFi, giving them access to content they can’t get anywhere else.”

His new single's entitled, "Adnis."  Below peep a 30 second sample of the track and music video, featuring acting legend Danny Glover and Moonlight star Mahershala Ali.

Just in case you were wondering, Sprint reportedly acquired 33% of Jay's TIDAL earlier this year in January.  The deal gave the wireless giant access to Jay's 45 million music subscribers.  However, that access didn't come cheap.  The LA Times reports Sprint shelled out $200 million, to enjoy those benefits.  Meanwhile Jay and Beyonce will enjoy their new babies, then in September the rap legend will get back to work.  Jay is set to promote his new album and, scheduled to headline the 2017 Made In America Festival in Philly.
