Steelers’ Mike Adams Stabbed By Wiz Khalifa Affiliate [VIDEO]

Pittsburgh Steeler offensive tackle Mike Adams was stabbed in a botched care jacking attempt.

According to reports by Pittsburgh police, 26-year old Dquay Means, an affiliate of Wiz Khalifa's Taylor Gang, and 25-year-old Michael Paranay were arrested and taken into custody for trying carjack the NFL play.  They face attempted homicide, aggravated assault and conspiracy charges.  Authorities are still searching for the third suspect.

Adams was released from the hospital yesturday (June 4), and is expected to return to the field in six weeks.  According to agent, Eric Metz, though the men ran off after stabbing the player, the incident was caught on surveillance camera.  Police were able to track down one of the assailants because he dropped his cell phone at the scene.

Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin is hoping that the Adams' story will shed light on the violence taking over the city's South Side.  "It goes beyond the team.  I just think as members of this community we need to recognize some things going on on the South Side make it a dangerous place, particularly after hours."
