Finally, according to Complex and the Huffington Post the Miami Police Union voted in favor of all law enforcement officers boycotting Beyonce’s April concert at Marlins Park. Apparently some of the officers are feeling some type of way about Bey's alleged anti-police message in her "Formation" video and Super Bowl halftime performance. Javier Ortiz, president of Miami Fraternal Order of Police, release the following statement;

"The Miami Fraternal Order of Police has voted to have all law enforcement officers boycott Beyoncé’s concert which is being held at the Miami Marlins Stadium on Wednesday, April 26, 2016.

The fact that Beyoncé used this year’s Super Bowl to divide Americans by promoting the Black Panthers and her antipolice message shows how she does not support law enforcement."

Complex reported Ortiz admitted that he didn't watch Beyoncé's halftime performance, "out of respect for our profession." However, he "mistakenly" watched the "Formation" video. ???

In spite of that, a spokesman for the Miami Police Department, Major Delrish Moss, announced that Ortiz doesn't speak for the police department or the City of Miami. The Huffington Post reports Moss, said Beyoncé's Marlins Park performance will absolutely be protected. It's good to know the majority of people and officers understand Beyonce's message wasn't anit-police, but anti-police brutality.
