Suge Knight says Dr. Dre hired a hitman to have him killed, because he didn’t want to pay him a portion of the money made when Apple purchased Beats by Dre for roughly $3 billion.

According to TMZ, Suge claims he has a lifetime deal with Dr. Dre that entitles him to 30% of Dre’s “entertainment earnings.” The imprisoned former music mogul alleges that Dre cut him out of the deal because Apple didn’t want to be associated with Suge Knight.

A lawsuit now claims that Dre’s solution to not paying Suge was to hire a hitman to kill him at 1 Oak night club during the 2014 VMA’s weekend, where he was shot in the abdomen. The suit claims that the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department questioned a man named T-Money in regards to the shooting, and that he told cops Dr. Dre paid him to kill Suge. With more than 30 cameras at the night club, no arrests were ever made.

The lawsuit also claims that Cle “Bone” Sloan was paid $300,000 to kill Suge Knight on the set of “Straight Outta Compton” back in January of 2015 during a hit-and-run incident when Knight hit Sloan with his truck at Tam’s Burgers, injuring him, and running over Terry Carter, killing him. Suge reportedly said he was avoiding an ambush.

Dr. Dre’s lawyers have since responded to TMZ,

"Given that Dre has had zero interaction with Suge since leaving Death Row Records in 1996, we hope that Suge's lawyer has lots of malicious prosecution insurance."

Dr. Dre, Apple, Universal and Tam’s Burgers are all being sued by Suge, and he want’s $300 million of Dr. Dre’s $1 billion profit from the sell of Beats to Apple.
