The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office is in need of the publics help to identify a man responsible for aggravated assault with a firearm at a Sulphur nightclub on Friday morning.

According to a CPSO media release, at approximately 5 a.m., January 5, "deputies responded to a nightclub on South Cities Service Highway in reference to a shooting."

Witnesses told detectives "the suspect" got into a verbal argument with someone inside the nightclub. He then reportedly exited the club, got into his "tan or gold late model 4 door Ford F-150 with running boards", and circled the parking lot. The suspect then shot toward the nightclub from his truck, hitting the building and a parked vehicle.

Witnesses told detectives "the suspect may have been recently terminated from a local refinery."
