Swizz Beatz is calling out one of the fashion industry's biggest brands for snatching his logo. On Wednesday (June 21), high-end fashion label Balenciaga unveiled its menswear spring/summer 2018 collection at Paris Fashion Week Men’s, where a shirt emblazoned with the famed Ruff Ryders logo was presented.

Compromised of a wide range of garments and accessories, the forthcoming Balenciaga collection highlights the new aesthetic and direction of the French fashion house. Among the new apparel pieces, however, is a shirt that has sparked a bit of a controversy due to its extreme likeness to one of hip-hop’s most popular logos of all time. Swizz Beatz called out the fashion label for designing a button-up shirt with an all-around print that appears to be very similar to the Ruff Ryders logo.

In the Instagram caption, Swizz wrote, “@balenciaga we must have a talk about this Ruff Ryder shirt ASAP Dapper Dan with Gucci now this thoughts ?????? Blessings.”

Taking things one step further, Swizz went back into his archives and posted another Instagram photo of an original Ruff Ryders button-up shirt from the year 2000, which definitely resembles the Balenciaga shirt in question. "This is the Ruff Ryders original version from 2000 @balenciaga @vetements_official what are we doing??? Call me back blessings . I Might just want you to open up a fashion school in the bronx or harlem Just so you can give back to the culture ! thoughts ????," the "Money in the Bank" rapper wrote in his caption.

Ruff Ryders Entertainment has been regarded as one of the most successful rap labels and movements of all time. Signing coveted acts such as DMX, The Lox, Eve, Swizz beatz, Drag-On and more, the brand was able to make its stamp on the rap game through its music and other business ventures. Most recently, the Ruff Ryders camp announced they will embark on a 20th anniversary tour across the U.S., starting in September.
