SWLA School Holiday Break Schedule, and College/Universities

That’s right parents and grand parents, you’ve got approximately two weeks to spend with the kiddos for the Christmas and New Year holiday break. Not quite sure when they get out of school for the break, or when they go back to school? We’ve got you covered with parish-by-parish list list below.

• Allen: December 21 January 3, return January 4
• Beauregard: 4-Day Schools) December 19 January 2, return January 3
• Beauregard: (5-Day Schools) December 19 January 3, return January 4
• Calcasieu: December 19 January 2, return January 3
• Cameron: December 19 December 30, return January 2
• Jeff Davis: December 21 January 3, return January

For my higher learning folks, below is a list of local college and universities return dates from fall break.

• McNeese State University closes on December 16, and reopens January 2, 2017. Classes for the Spring semester begin on January 17.
• Delta Tech and Sowela, Spring classes begin January 9, 2017.
