Today in The Wire the iconic gentlemen’s club, King of Diamonds, is headed to the Internet with it's very own reality show.  According the reports rapper/actor/reality star T.I. and his V-Live entertainment, will partner with the club and open a brand new spot on the legendary Ocean Drive.

The world renowned establishment is owned by rapper Akinyele, best known for the hit “Put It In Your Mouth.”  The rapper is reportedly making HipAkinyele-Hop history in Miami, by putting the first black owned business and gentlemen’s club on the strip.

The first King of Diamonds opened in 2008 in Miami Gardens, approximately 40 minutes from South Beach. The new King of Diamonds will reportedly be situated within walking distance from the historic Clevelander Hotel and the famous daiquiri joint, Wet Willies.

As for the reality show, cameras will capture all the trials and tribulations of opening the club on Miami's famous street, plus give a first hand look at what it takes to manage the dancers and keep the patrons. Speaking of which that part takes some serious finesse, because on any given day customers include every from NFL & NBA athletes to Hollywood actors and raps biggest stars spending millions.

Today (June 24) Akinyele released a statement about the upcoming grand opening saying “Our generation has spoken, and now we will be the first black owned club on Ocean Drive in the heart of South Beach.”

FYI the new web series is said to be introducing viewers to several of King of Diamonds’ most popular exotic dancers.  Be on the look-out trailers should be hitting the next Monday.  The reality show will make it's big debut the same day the club opens, July 4. Get ready to make it rain!!!
