This Saturday October 15th, 107 Jamz is proud to be apart of the Ethel Precht Breast Cancer 3 K Walk at the Lake Charles Civic Center. The Sign up is for 7:30 and the walk begins at 8:30. Most of you are, or possibly know someone who has been affected by some form of cancer. It could be a mother, sister, brother or father. This walk is very important and I urge all of you to please take part in this once a year event.

We feel pretty confident that everyone reading this has a connection to someone with breast cancer. Unfortunately, that’s the common nature of breast cancer in the modern world. While things are better than they used to be – the overall survival rate of breast cancer is now 85 percent – it’s still too low a number by far. Only a 100-percent survival rate would be acceptable! That’s why the Ethel Precht Breast Cancer Walk is so important!
