This past Saturday was a great time as Gina Cook, Kynnfolk, Alyssa and myself took part in the Ethel Precht Cancer walk, and we had a great time for an even greater cause.

Wow, believe it or not it has been 30 years since to introduction of the compact disc. Or in simpler terms the cd. I remember the first time  I actually received a cd of my own which was BBD "Poison". Of course I didn't have anything to play it on, but it was the principle of having one.

Alright so the craze is going on about the I-Phone 5 and folks all over the world have been anticpating and going crazy with  people lined up to get theirs. Well I hate to be a spoil sport but standing in line for a phone is not on my list of things to do, but If I were to stand in line, here are some things that could potentially make me go crazy!

I really had a great time yesterday with my family at the Father And Sons/ Single Mothers community day. This was an event brought to us compliments of Chuck Slugg 4 Kids. Here are a few of the photos from yesterdays event. Even though there was plenty of rain, it didn't stop a thing from happening on yesterday.

Check me out this afternoon as I will be talking with rapper/singer Shawna Pat inside the afternoon jumpoff today.

The party gets started with 107 Jamz Go Dj Affiliates Big Boy Chill and Erik Tee in the Mix This Wednesday, thats right the 4th Of July will be live as every hour on the hour we will  be in the mix with the hottest hip hop and r&b!

So I went to Las Vegas last week and I will be touching on my trip and beyond over the next few days. I can honestly say if you and when you get this opportunity, don't hesitate to go. Keep in mind that it will be hot, but it is worth it for you and yours.

Man I had a blast this weekend hanging out with the staff and friends from Big Al's Eatery. The food was great and the people came through and left with a smile. I can run down alot of great foods from the menu, but I will just say that you will not be disappointed from anything on the menu. I will say the ribs are off the chain and literally fall of the bone. Check out some of the folks who came

My man Wochee came through and showed much love as he got prepared to shut the city down on yesterday!

You know how you see one of those faces and you wonder who it is? Well that's how I felt yesterday.

I can tell you that this weekend was a blast as I was honored and proud to be a part of the welcoming committee for Joshua Ledet! Joshua came through the station  this past Saturday, and we were all over the events that took place later on that day. Our Midday Diva Gina Cook and Gary Shannon from our sister station, 92.9 The Lake really did a great job with the interview.
