The thing to remember about all the Joshua Ledet “American Idol” festivities scheduled for this weekend is that they’re all being pretty much made up out of thin air, so that means things are subject to change quickly, and often.

It gives me great pleasure to inform all of you that Joshua is not only safe, but has made it into the Top 3 on American Idol!!!  The pride of Louisiana is coming home to visit!

If Joshua Ledet survives this round of eliminations tonight on "American Idol", the Lake Area will understandably explode into full Josh mode.  This mania will start with free tickets to his 6 p.m. show on Saturday at Burton Coliseum.  Tickets will be available starting at 8 p.m. tonight.

We've received dozens of calls asking about  "Team Joshua" shirts.  "Where can I get one?"  "Is there just one style?"  Don't worry, we've got you covered!

There's no two ways about it, Joshua needs our votes.  Now more than ever, the pressure is on.  Now more than ever we've got to do our part in this and vote.

As we reported yesterday, there’s a better-than-even chance that ‘American Idol‘ star Joshua Ledet will be returning to town on Saturday like the conquering hero he’s become.  First, he'll be here in our studios, then he'll be in a parade, then finally he'll give a live performance at Burton Coliseum.

He’s hit the big time, baby, and he’s bringing it all back home if he makes it through one more week. "American Idol" favorite Joshua Ledet will be live in our studios this Saturday, May 12 during the 8 a.m. hour and there will then be a parade in his honor and a live concert at Burton Colliseum that same afternoon, but only if you get him through one more round.

There was so much love for "American Idol" contestant Joshua Ledet this week at Westlake's Multipurpose Center that we just couldn't put it all into one video.  So, as promised, here's the second half, where friends, family and neighbors all wished the next "American Idol" the best in the weeks ahead.

They didn't save the best for last tonight.  Off the bat, Joshua Ledet was the first and sole Idol to find out he was safe.  That left the remaining 4 Idols to sweat it out.

Man, I had a great time hanging out in Westlake last night for the American Idol Viewing Party at the Multipurpose Building. The folks really came through and showed their support for Joshua from DeQuincy to Lake Charles, Moss Bluff and all over. This is truly a big moment for Louisiana and we should all be proud of Mr. Joshua Ledet!

Dear Joshua, You've been out in Hollywood with "American Idol" for a while now, and your friends and family miss you.  We know your preparation means you can't always talk to us, but we wanted to talk to you.  So we set up a camera and let everyone say what was in their hearts.
