Hanging Out At The Krewe Of Krewe Parade [PICTURES]

Lake Charles showed up and showed out on yesterday and man did they represent. We were in the building and there had to be close to 100,000 patrons lining up the streets of Ryan on yesterday. This is the first time in about 2 years that I have had the chance to get out and participate , but it was well worth it.

It's carnival time, Mardi Gras time and every Mardi Gras Krewe state wide is struttin' their stuff for Louisiana's biggest and most popular festivals. Krewes and costume designer set out a year in advance to make sure they have the best floats to the flashest costumes.

So the holidays have come and gone and now it’s time for another major holiday for Louisiana. Mardi Gras is coming and it’s an early one this year!

Mardi Gras this year is on February 21st and it kicks off with the 12th night celebration this Friday night January 6th, 2012 at the Lake Charles Civic Center!
