Celebrate the life and legacy of iconic pastor, civil rights leader, and humanitarian Dr. Martin Luther King Junior. The 38th Annual MLK Day Parade starts 11am.
The national holiday celebrating the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. is fastly approaching. In tribute, I would like to share a poem by retired educator Dr. Nancy B. Shepard.
Dr. Martin Luther King didn't just talk the talk, he walk the walk and even died for what he believed in. His dream called for racial equality, social justice, an integrated and unified America and economic opportunity for ALL. He was a man of great integrity and the youngest to ever receive the Nobel Peace Prize.
