Tonight Oprah with re-air the last in-depth interview with Whitney Houston.  Oprah's OWN Network will air the special and pay tribute to the late songbird.  Here's an excerpt of the interview:

Who knew a homeless man would turn out to be an overnight celebrity?  Only in America, right?  One of the biggest stories of 2011 was the Ted Williams story.  The Ohio native got national attention after an interview that went viral in January.  After being seen holding up a cardboard sign saying he would do voice over work for a donation, someone decided to video him.

Now this is going out in style: The final episode of The Oprah Winfrey Show delivered the program’s highest overnight rating in 17 years.

I'm surprised that this is not going to be on the OWN Network, but Ms Maya Angelou is about to step off in the talk show arena next year.

There is about to big a big party going down in Detroit, but I do believe you must be on a very special guest list to attend!

Oprah Winfrey is definately not one to let one monkey stop a show, she has set her sights on even bigger fish to fry.

With her tv network not doing what people thought it would, it seems Oprah Winfrey is dealing with another dramatic issue.

While the day-time talk show queen stories have pretty much been a closed book. There is now something that she is very excited to talk about. Oprah Winfrey has always been able to get to the bottom of family issues, well now Ms. Winfrey has been hit with a big surprise. An addition to her family, by way of a newly added sister.

Ok so I read through this article about “OWN” Oprah’s own network on cable. I really am still clueless on what exactly will be the point of this channel. Does she really think she’s that awesome?
