As we reported yesterday, there’s a better-than-even chance that ‘American Idol‘ star Joshua Ledet will be returning to town on Saturday like the conquering hero he’s become. First, he'll be here in our studios, then he'll be in a parade, then finally he'll give a live performance at Burton Coliseum.

"American Idol" favorite Joshua Ledet will be live in our studios this Saturday, May 12 during the 8 a.m. hour and there will then be a parade in his honor and a live concert at Burton Colliseum that same afternoon, but only if you get him through one more round.

Mardi Gras parade routes will be shifting this year, thanks to construction in the downtown area. The City of Lake Charles and Mardi Gras of Southwest Louisiana released the new route map yesterday.

Leesville To Hold Christmas Parade For Redeployed Soldiers

The city of Leesville Louisiana will be holding their “I’ll be Home for Christmas” parade for redeployed soldiers from Fort Polk.

It will be the largest military parade in the city since 1943 and it all happens this Saturday Dec. 10th. Here are all the details:

It’s time to light up the lakefront in Lake Charles, and it all happens Saturday, Dec. 3.

The City of Lake Charles will hold its annual Christmas parade and lighting up of the lakefront. They plan on having a street parade, lighting up the front of the Civic center, holding a boat parade that night and finishing off the night with a fireworks show.
