C-Murder Life Sentence Upheld –Tha Wire

It was a sad day in court for 40 year old rapper Corey Miller, best known as C-Miller and Master P's brother. C-Murder’s rap career includes eight solo albums and several albums with TRU, the trio of him and brothers Master P and Silkk The Shocker. His 1998 disc Life or Death achieved platinum sales and its follow-up Bossalinie went Gold. His most recent album, 2010’s Tomorrow, was released under his own TRU Records while he was in prison. Unfortunately for him, that's were he's gonna be for the rest of his life. His hopes of over turning a previous conviction of life in prison, are now lost.

Suspect Named In Slim Dunkin Murder! –Tha Wire

The funeral services for Slim Dunkin were held this past Friday after the up-n-coming rapper was murdered in a Atlanta studio over a piece of candy the week before. The murder has been under heavy investigation ever since it happened. Police were pleading to the public for any leads and specifically to the more than 30 people present at the time Slim was shot. Now, authorities have a break in the case and have officially named a suspect.

In a story that hit the news yesterday, 35 year rapper Shawty Lo was hospitalized on Wednesday. Details are kinda sketchy, but according to report he a serious diabetic episode. His manager confirmed the report saying simply the needed to "seek immediate medical attention".

The very pubic court proceedings and constant media attention was enough to drive a wedge between any solid marriage. Somehow, they made it through and it appeared that all was good. But, as of Friday of last week Vanessa Bryant filed for divorce sighting "irreconcilable differences".

Flo Rida Strikes A Deal In DUI Case — Tha Wire

As previously reported, Flo Rida was pulled over in his million-dollar Bugatti on a traffic violation in June and subsequently arrested for DUI. Now it would appear he won't have to serve any prison time for the offense, thanks to a deal he stuck.
