Jay Z Goes To Trial Over “Big Pimpin” –Tha Wire
December 16, 2011 Jay Z has been in and out of court over his hit single "Big Pimpin" since 2007. He's being sued for copyright infringement of a 1957 Egyptian song. The original artist is no longer alive, but his nephew is and has filed suit looking for Jay Z to cough up the damages.
