TGT, the R&B supergroup comprised of Tyrese, Ginuwine and Tank was truly the a dream come true for fans.  They were the ultimate R&B singing group, with the promise of crazy success, talent and sex appeal hitting on all cylinders.  One minute their dropping a new album, Three Kings, the next it's all over.  So what happened?

Tank says...Tyrese got a little greedy.  TMZ, caught up with the singer/actor recently at LAX and during a series of questions asked when the next TGT album was coming out. The singer was gracious and said "Tyrese isn't trying to split the money equally, so we're done."  See the brief interview below.

You know bad news travels fast and Tyrese is not happy with his former groupmate for putting on blast like that.  The singer/actor was quick to respond, channeling Drake's “Back To Back” on Instagram,

“I drove here in the #Wraith playin AR-AB I’m not really sure what I did to make y’all mad I guess this is what I gotta do to make y’all sell I mean whooooaaaaaa.”

AllHipHop reports Tank is backing up what he said, alleging Tye agreed to split the money evenly among the three of them and then pulled out.  The singer has had no problem going toe-to-toe with his former singing mate either, making it clear that TGT broke-up up because of him...

"He play Drake but I write his verse, my verse and produce the song! Plus look at my chest!...Lol

In spite of all the back and forth, Ginuwine is playing it smart and keeping his mouth shut. Can't blame him for that.  In the meantime, all three of them are still very successful and I'm happy to say we'll be able to catch all three of them in the area on individual tours and performances as well.

For starters, Ginuwine is traveling the country on tour performing with  Keith Sweat, Bobby BrownDoug E. Fresh, Slick Rick and Jagged Edge.  Catch "The Bachelor" live in Houston at the NRG Arena, Friday May 13!  Click here for tickets.  No word on a new album, but I'll keep you posted if anything changes.

Tank has a hit sitcom on TVOne, Born Again Virgin, so that's keeping him busy.  Not to mention he is also on the road, promoting his new album on his "Sex, Love & Pain Tour II Tour," which jumps off in Dallas this Saturday, March 5.  FYI, catch him live at the House of Blues in the N.O. on March 10.

He stopped by The Real a couple of weeks ago and performed his new single #BDAY, peep his performance below!

Tyrese is still doing it big as well.  If he's not making blockbuster films, he's hosting his new talk show with Rev Run on the OWN Network, "It's Not You, It's Men."

Tyrese as mentioned above is also promising something new Easter Sunday and in addition to all of that, he will be live in New Orleans for the Essence Music Festival July 4th weekend!

So they are still getting that money, unfortunately not together.  I know he and Tank will make up eventually and we are all hoping they can pull together and put out another TGT album.  We'll just have to see what happens.  For all things entertainment, celeb birthdays and more listen for Tha Wire on The People's Station 107 JAMZ at 12:50 p.m. and 3:35 p.m. every weekday!
