Temporary Road Closure: Broad Street

Lake Charles, LA. - Expect more road construction to further frustrate your commute to and from work and school.

The westbound lanes of Broad Street from Lyons Street to 1st Avenue will be temporarily closed beginning Tuesday, Feb. 14, at 7:30 a.m. The closure is scheduled to last to about 3:30 p.m. for the repair of a broken water main, said a City of Lake Charles press release.

There will be posted detour signs, and local traffic will still have access to businesses in the area. Drive safely.
