Beginning Thursday, December 28, at 9 a.m., the southbound lane of the 2200 block of Creole Street, between Louie St. and Short St. will close to vehicular traffic, according to a City of Lake Charles media release.

The closure has been scheduled to allow the repair of a water line beneath the street. The repair is estimated to last for about one week.
