Teyana Taylor Releases Golden Visuals for “Champions” Freestyle

Clad in gold and nothing else, singer Teyana Taylor leaves us speechless once again with visuals for her “Champion” freestyle.

During his 2016 VMA’s speech, Kanye West debuted his “Fade” video, which featured Teyana Taylor in just a sports bra and thong doing some freestyle choreography. If you didn’t know who she was before then, you’ve certainly been brought up to speed after watching Yeezy’s interesting video. If you’re like us at the People’s Station, we know that Teyana Taylor is much more than a toned body. She’s actually a damn good singer. Check out her debut album VII and get familiar. It didn’t receive much promotion when it was released in 2014, but it boasts features from Chris Brown, Fabolous, Pusha T, and Yo Gotti. Might I add, it’s a damn good album.

Back to Teyana’s latest visuals for the “Champion” freestyle, it was actually shot in stop motion, meaning it was created with photographs. It’s a pretty cool concept, especially if you’re an artsy type like I am. Check out the visuals above, shot by photographer Sasha Samsonova.
