The City of Lake Charles Recreation and Parks Department's annual Harvest Festival is set for Tuesday, October 31, 2017, at the Lake Charles Civic Center, 900 Lakeshore Drive, from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m.

It’s a FREE event for the community featuring games, train rides, arts and crafts, bounce house, face art, balloon characters, and more inside the Exhibition Hall. Costumes are encouraged but are not required. Concessions will be sold on site.

Trick-or-treat activities in Lake Charles are recommended to end at 8 p.m. The City encourages parents to get their children home by 8:30 p.m., "unless they are attending a supervised function sponsored by other parents or civic organizations.”
