After releasing the long-awaited The Documentary 2 and The Documentary 2.5, The Game will be back in the limelight, but this time it'll be on the small screen.

A&E Networks will be airing a three-part docuseries about the history of Compton and how it bred so many of hip-hop's biggest stars.

"Streets of Compton chronicles the city's history and illustrates how the iconic music, culture and style that came out of the area in the '80s and early '90s were influenced by the drugs, gangs and political turmoil of the time," a press release stated.

Aside from The Game, rappers including Kendrick Lamar and Problem will tell their experiences growing up in Compton. Game's parents as well as his manager, Cash Jones, will also appear in the doc.

There will also be an 11-track soundtrack to go with the docuseries, which is led by Game. He recruited a heavy set of talent to help on the musical aspect of the project including producers League of Stars and Bongo as well as fellow Compton artists like Boogie, J3, Payso and Micah. He recently released one of the tracks, "Roped Off," featuring Problem and Boogie.

The first two parts of Streets of Compton will air on June 9 at 10PM EST followed by the final episode on June 16 at 10PM EST on A&E. Meanwhile, the soundtrack for the docuseries will drop on June 17 via Blood Money/Fifth Amendment/Entertainment One (eOne).
