What's going on?  The 82 year old matriarch of the Jackson family, Katherine Jackson was reported missing over the weekend but later found to be with her daughter Rebbie and other relatives in Arizona.  Question is, is she there because that's were she wants to be?  Or is she being kept against her will?

She has not spoken to her grandchildren – Prince, Paris and Blanket – since allegedly disappearing July 15th and that is highly unusual.  As a matter of fact her grand children are extremely upset that she's gone.

Michael Jackson's only daughter, Paris, has posted updates in recent days on Twitter, including her displeasure with not being allowed to speak with her grandmother for more than a week.  On Tuesday, she wrote, "9 days and counting... so help me god I will make whoever did this pay."  To make matters even worse, Jackie, Marlon and Tito appeared on "The Insider" Tuesday and said that they also have not spoken with their mother in a week.  This of course is really bad timing for them as they along with Jermaine are on an international comeback concert tour.  The Jackson 5 "Unity" tour, which began June 20th in Ontario.

Meanwhile, Michaels estate executors are saying that there's something fishy going on and whatever this family dispute is about, it's got them worried.  The executors hinted that further action may be taken to protect Michael's children.  Right now their trying to keep his children with their grandmother and are meeting great opposition from some of his siblings. The turmoil Tuesday as a feud that has engulfed the singer's mother and children continued to play out in a videotaped driveway confrontation that authorities continue to investigate.

Estate executors John Branca and John McClain are worried about the in fighting and wrote in a letter posted on fan sites, "We are concerned that we do what we can to protect them from undue influences, bullying, greed, and other unfortunate circumstances," referring to a family disturbance at the hilltop home where Katherine Jackson and her three grandchildren live.

For some reason Randy Jackson is accusing Branca and McClain of criminal misconduct and claimed Michael's 2002 will was a fake.  Joining Rev. Al Sharpton on his MSNBC show Randy said, "They know that they've been caught, they know that they've falsified a document and they know that there are questions that we want answered.  This family is united to right a wrong."  He went on to accuse Michael's estate execs of trying to keep the family's disagreements at the forefront to deflect attention away from questions about the will.  It should be noted that Michael left everything to his mother and children.  He left nothing to his father or siblings, who have repeatedly tried to intervene in the estate but never filed a formal court challenge.

As far as the claims, Michael's estate has denied all claims of wrongdoing, calling questions about the will and allegations against the executors "false and defamatory accusations."  As far as Michael's children, Branca and McClain wrote, "We believe measures are being put in place that will help protect them from what they are having to deal with."

Meanwhile, the L.A. Sheriff's Department spokesman Steve Whitmore said deputies continue to investigate the altercation that took place Monday afternoon, however he said there were no indications it involved the Michaels children.  He did say the incident involved two adult males but refused to identify them.  A battery case may be presented to prosecutors, but Whitmore added that decision has not yet been made.

So what's up with the driveway confrontation that was caught on video?  Randy Jackson said he and brother Jermaine and sister Janet went to the home on Monday to invite Prince and Paris, to join their grandmother in Arizona.  Sandra Ribera, an attorney for Katherine Jackson, said authorities were called after the children were bum-rushed by relatives who followed them into their gated community in Calabasas.  Ribera claims "a plan has been in place for the last three years to remove Katherine Jackson from her home and her beloved grandchildren."

Sheriff Whitmore said the missing person's investigation into Katherine Jackson's whereabouts has been closed, but did mention there was an inquiry about possible elder abuse of the 82-year-old Jackson family matriarch.  Speaking of which deputies interviewed Katherine Jackson after a family business associate warned authorities that she was possibly being emotionally abused by a family member.  However she emphatically denied the accusations.

Whitmore said there is an abundance of caution that has investigators looking into claims that Katherine Jackson is the subject of financial abuse.  The estate and Katherine Jackson's guardianship of the children are supervised by a probate judge.  The judge recently received a financial summary showing that Michael's estate has earned $475 million in gross profits since his death, and many of his major debts have either been resolved or are no longer delinquent.

In a letter that leaked last week, Janet, Jermaine and Randy Jackson were joined by siblings Tito and Rebbie  calling on Branca and McClain to resign and accusing them of manipulating their mother.  I will keep you posted with any further details.
