Today I was scrolling online and came across a post from singer Sheila E. She mentioned that she lost her musical sister in the game and that music artist was Vanity. This was disheartening and very sad. We have just lost Natalie Cole, David Bowie and just a week ago Maurice White from Earth, Wind and Fire.

It seems like they are leaving here left and right. The one thing about Vanity is that she has not released music in well over twenty years. As a matter of fact she went back to her real name Denise Matthews and relinquished all of her rights to any music. She had been an evangelist for the latter part of her life. She apparently died from Kidney Failure and abdominal problems.. It is believed that she had been sick for awhile.

R.I.P to another great legend who is also gone to soon. While many will remember her as Vanity, we respectfully say thanks for the memories and commend her on the changes she decided to make in her life.
