The NFL Say’s No To Eminem’s Hefty Fee [VIDEO]
The NFL found out that booking Eminem for a shindig doesn't come cheap. Ol Slim Shady was ask to perform during a special Super Bowl 2014 event, but apparently his price was a little to steep.
According to TMZ, NFL owners were looking for a big-name act to perform at their special party during Super Bowl week in January 2014. However, when Reps for the event talked to Eminem’s people they learned he wanted a $2 million for the performance upfront.
Ironically, Kanye West was also requested to perform, the NFL turned his price of $1 million "plus a huge riders list" down as well.
Honestly, for two of the biggest rappers in the game right now, what did they expect? Long story short, NFL owners hired R&B diva Janelle Monae to perform at their event for a mere $150,000. Which is a steal, because the songtress is definitely worth more than that.
Nevertheless, Janelle Monae is a beast when it comes to putting on a show, so theirs no doubt she's gonna turn the party out. Speaking of which, here's the diva performing the tittle track to her latest album, 'Electric Lady' live on Black Girls Rock.
