The "Teen Connections" program for ages 13-18, will return on Thursday, May 3 at 5 p.m., at the Cpl. Donald Ray Stevens Recreation Center (formerly Goosport), located at 1619 Cessford Street. The topic will be "So You Want to be an Entrepreneur-How to Start Your Own Business.” The event is scheduled on the first and third Thursday of each month.

The program is "designed to help teenagers with job skills, college prep, social media, interview skills, and ACT prep", and more. The classes are taught by local educators, government officials, and business leaders from the community.

Mayor Nic Hunter is the presenter, where he will speak about his personal experience as a business owner, said a media release.
