Multi-platinum producer Timbaland stops in to talk with Ebro and Peter Rosenberg about his role as music director for Empire, new artists, calls Drake “The King,” and he talks about all of the great artists he’s worked with over the years.

Timbo is certainly not your run of the mill veteran, as he believes in cultivating new talent and being supportive of the new music out now. “For me, it’s like learning the new generation, and being a teacher for the new generation too,” said the producer.

It’s safe to say that Timbaland will be around for a long time, because he’s accepting of the change that has happened in the music business. He reminds me of Quincy Jones in how he’s been able to recreate himself over the years, and not let his age stand in front of what he can do. Check out the full interview above for more.
