Just in time for the holidays TLC releases their new Christmas song, ‘Gift Wrapped Kiss.’   It's hard to believe, but it's been 20 years since the divas spread a little Christmas cheer. Back in the day, they dropped a couple fun holiday tracks with ‘Sleigh Ride,’ and 'All I Want For Christmas'.  Below is a look back.

Now it looks like T-Boz and Chilli are ready to scoop-up that same success with release of ‘Gift Wrapped Kiss’.  TheBoomBox reports Santa even gets on the mic and spits a yuletide verse on the track.  The new joint from TLC is available on iTunes now and below you can listen and download it!  No word on whether their gonna drop a full length project or not, but I'll keep you posted if they do.

Finally, it's been a very long time coming, but I'm happy to say D'Angelo is finally ready to drop his highly anticipated album Black Messiah.  BET reports just days after announcing a new record was in the works, D'Angelo and his group, the Vanguard,  hosted a listening session for LP on Sunday.  Then surprised fans by releasing the album on iTunes at midnight.

What's up with title?  D'Angelo told BET, "For me, the title is about all of us. It's about the world. It's about an idea we can all aspire to. We should all aspire to be a Black Messiah. Not every song on this album is politically charged (though many are), but calling this album Black Messiah creates a landscape where these songs can live to the fullest."

The lead single off the album, "Sugah Daddy," and leaves no doubt D'Angelo can still deliver the sultry sound he's known for.  Check him out below performing the song live in Zurich!
