Don't forget today is the last day to request an absentee ballot for the upcoming December 6th election.  To be eligible you must be a senior (65 or older), in the military, handicap/disabled or away in college.  To apply simple go online or click here.  You may also print an application to vote by mail which you complete and mail to your parish registrar of voters.

If you are 65 or older or disabled, you can enroll in the Senior Citizen or Disability Program.  Once accepted, you'll automatically receive a ballot by mail for ALL elections. Proof of disability will be required.

Today is the final day to request an absentee ballot.  You have until 4:30 p.m. to do so and your ballot must be returned the day before election day or sooner.  So don't delay!.
