Townsquare Media Lake Charles is seeking a qualified individual for an accounting assistant position. This person will assist the General Manager in the market and the Regional Business Manager located offsite. Strong computer skills are a must.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Accounts payable
- Accounts receivable
- Processing credit applications
- Making collection calls
- Submitting daily, weekly and monthly reports
- Processing new hire paperwork
- Researching client issues
- Monthly billing
- Backup to the traffic department
- Switchboard relief
- Ordering supplies
- General office management to ensure that things run smoothly, and all other duties as assigned.
The qualified individual will need excellent communication and time management skills with the ability to read budget reports, financial statements, etc. The ability to produce quality work with tight deadlines is a must. High school diploma required. One year broadcast experience preferred, but not required. Must have at least 2 years of accounting experience.
