This Monday we honor one of the most inspirational men ever. We will be featuring different clips from various speeches from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

They will start off with The Steve Harvey Morning Show and go all day until midnight. January 21st is the official day celebrated as Kings Day is celebrated with kids being out of school and some jobs giving this day as a day off.

This man really embodied what it is to be peaceful in a violent word as he was killed at the Lorraine Motel in Memphis on April 4th, 1968. He was there to help the black sanitary public works employees while against some of the members of the SLCL as they felt they had enough on them at the time. He gave his life so that many of us regard of race would be treated fairly. As I mentioned before we still have a long way to go, but he worked diligently to see to it that certain laws were passed and many were treated fairly.

So tune in this Monday and make sure the kids are around so that they will be able to take in what Dr. King stood for.
