Ty Dolla $ign and Jeremih have been teasing their joint album since the top of the year, and it looks like we can finally begin the countdown to its release. During a video call with Zane Lowe on Beats 1 yesterday (May 9), the Beach House 3 hitmaker revealed that he and the Chicago singer would be dropping their collaborative project next month.

During the conversation, Ty Dolla says that the project is slated to be a full-length album and that it was produced entirely by Hitmaka, who is also known as Yung Berg.

“Next month, I’m dropping a whole other project with me and my brother, Jeremih," he explained. "That’s like a full-length album. I’m so excited for that one. We did it with my bro, Hitmaka. He produced the whole shit, so it’s like a consistent album of bangers.”

The California vocalist also says that he and Jeremih recorded the project in eight sessions at the most, and that they created around 60 songs. Ultimately, the duo had to choose about 14 tracks to keep the album at an appropriate length.

"I promise you we did [at tops] eight sessions," he reveals. "Maybe less than that. We got 60 songs and we had to choose 13-14."

If you recall, Ty Dolla said that the joint project would be titled MihTy, but he didn't confirm that as the official title in his latest interview. He also previously said that the album would feature Chris Brown, PartyNextDoor and other major names, but we'll have to wait until the tracklist is unveiled to know for sure.
