Tyler Perry dropped by TMZ web series, Raq Rants, to talk about his latest film, “Boo! A Madea Halloween”, his first time smoking weed, his take on politics and who he’s voting for in the upcoming presidential election, and much more.

Perry, who we should never expect to run for office, because according to him, “I’ma run from it,” says he’s just ready for it all to be over. The Madea actor isn’t a fan of the candidates bashing each other, because it influences the children into "thinking that’s how this goes”. Though he’s voting for Hillary Clinton, Perry urged viewers to vote for who they want to vote for, but just be sure to vote.

The actor, author, director, producer, screenwriter, and playwright also answered questions regarding criticism of playing the Madea character, stating, “That’s been from day one, from the first time I put it on. It is what it is." It’s safe to say he’s focused and doesn’t concern himself about what others think about him. Also, Perry talked about smoking a joint for the first time when he was 40, and says it did nothing for him and he didn’t like how it tasted, so he hasn’t done it again.

"Boo! A Madea Halloween" hits theaters Friday, October 21, 2016.
