Uber is celebrating the kickoff of carnival season by delivering a king cake right to your front door!

Uber is known for their super slick app that networks users with drivers to get them from point A to point B with ease, but on Wednesday, January 6—known to anyone who has ever caught a Mardi Gras bead as Twelfth Night—they will be delivering king cakes in New Orleans, Baton Rouge and Lafayette.

Uber will only be delivering the king cakes between 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday (Jan. 6), so don't miss out on this delicious opportunity.

Cakes will cost $20 and quantities are limited. Uber expects demand to be high, so be sure to get your order in early.

Here's what you need to do:

  1. Open the app from 10am – 2pm on January 6, 2016
  2. Slide over to the ‘KING CAKE’ view and hit request
  3. Your driver will arrive with an original Haydel’s King Cake
  4. ENJOY!

We'll be ordering a king cake and will post all the sugary results on our Instagram!
