Yesterday, opening arguments got underway.  The courtroom was jam packed as testimony was heard from about 8 witnesses.  According to allhiphop.com, prosecution attorney Dana Cummings was first on deck and presented detailed info about the events leading up to the murder of Terry Boyd.

Cummings told the jurors that Boosie hired a man named Michael "Marlo Mike" to carry out the execution adding, that "Marlo Mike" even admitted to being paid $2800 by Boosie to carry out the murder.  On top of that, he also confessed to killing six other people.  However, in exchange for his testimony, the DA agreed to give him a less than life sentence.  Terry Boyd was killed after he was shot several times through a window at his families house on October 2st in 2009.

Other evidence that the jury will see comes from seized computers and hard drives.  Speaking of which, a computer forensic specialist is expected to give testimony that songs recording by Lil’ Boosie were done during the same time frame that Terry Boyd’s murder was committed.
