As previously reported the Trill Entertainment rapper was on his way to Atlanta's Northside Hospital to witness the birth of his child, when he was killed in a drive-by.  Phat’s murder was reportedly done out of retaliation for telling authorities that he leased a stolen BMW from Chulpayev.  That being said, Chulpayev is accused of hiring two hit men.  Phat was sitting in an Audi A7 that he purchased from Chulpayev when he was shot multiple times. It is believed the hit men tracked the 19-year-old down using the car's GPS system.

In other news, Tupac's longtime bodyguard has been found dead and foul play isn’t being ruled out just yet.  Frank Alexander was found dead in California and details remain sketchy.  However, there have been early, non-official reports that he died from a self-inflicted gun wound.

In 2007, Alexander sat down with AllHipHop.com and discussed his documentary called “Tupac Assasination.”  When asked about the situation moments before and after Tupac was killed, he said  “It was strange that I ended up being the only security for him and Suge. Normally Suge’s security was the head of the security firm. It was twenty three of us total, so there should have been more security.”

Finally, Kelis is making a comeback to the music scene and she's got all the recipe's. She’s gone from milkshakes to food literally.  Her new single is called “Jerk Ribs” and her new album should be in stores by the end of the year.

By the way "Jerk Ribs" was produced by TV on the Radio's Dave Sitek and it just so happens that earlier this year Kelis signed a two-album deal with his new label, Federal Prism.  So I guess it’s safe to say we can expect more tasty treats from the former Mrs. Jones.
