As previously reported yesterday, R&B singer August Alsina collapsed mid-performance Monday night and feel off the stage.  The 22-year old had to be rushed to an intensive care unit at a New York hospital and now it's being confirmed he is still receiving care.   after the R&B singer fainted during his concert. It appears Alsina suffered from multiple seizures, and he remains at the medical facility.

According to by both AllHipHop and TMZ, Alsina’s rep confirmed he's being treated for having multiple seizures.  While performing at Irving Plaza, shocked fans watched helplessly as he passed out and fell off the side of the stage.  Some witnesses say he hit his head on the railing going down and was unconscious when security got to him.

The singers rep stated nothing other than marijuana was found in his system and that the cause of his on-stage collapse was likely due to exhaustion and dehydration. However, that doesn't explain him suffering from multiple seizures.  On this I will continue to keep you posted.  As I stated yesterday, we will him the best and pray for his speedy recovery.

Finally, AllHipHop reports Gucci Mane learned his fate in another legal issue on Monday.  That issue, stems from a 2013 incident where the rapper struck a army staff sergeant in the head with a bottle, after being asked for an autograph.  The victim needed medical attention after the assault as well as stitches.

A week after being sentence in a federal firearm case, Gucci whose real name is, Radric Davis, plead guilty to aggravated assault.  Originally the rapper plead not guilty to the charge, but changed his mind and reversed his plea.  The new plea basically guarantees him a three-year sentence for the assault, that he will serve concurrently with the 39-months he's doing for the gun charges.
