Ok so… Jay Z only had ’99 Problems’ until Monday May 12th.  Now it looks like Beyoncé’s 27-year old sister, Solange, is his 100th.   Everybody’s heard or seen the video and social media has been on fire ever since.  The now infamous elevator debacle, went down after the three attended the Met Gala after party at the Standard Hotel’s Boom Boom Room.

The main question of course is…what happened and why did Solange go off in the elevator?  The answer, no one will know until they are ready to talk.  Period.  The only official statement made so far is by The Standard Hotel in New York City, where the elevator incident took place.

The hotel has launched an investigation to find out WHO released the video of the elevator scuffle.  On that , the Daily Mail reports a spokesperson for the hotel said,

‘We are investigating with the utmost urgency the circumstances surrounding the situation and, as is our customary practice, will discipline and prosecute the individuals involved to our fullest capacity.’

Can you say lawsuit?  Cause it’s getting ready to go down!

In the meantime, of course there’s been a ton of speculation on why Solange was so upset and the truth is…. as many people who want Jay and Bey to stay together, there’s just as many who would love to see their relationship fail.

Speaking of which, if you seen the tweet allegedly posted by Solange stating she went off off on Jay Z because he hit Beyonce…….IT’S FAKE.  That tweet was never really posted on Solange’s Twitter feed.  TMZ reports Solange’s rep said, “I can confirm that Solange did not tweet that; that is not a real tweet.”

TMZ also reports, Solange has deleted all Instagram photos with Beyonce in them … except for one.  I wouldn’t read too much into any of it though.  As for Bey and Jay Z, the couple was at the Brooklyn Nets playoff game that same night.

Though they didn’t get to there seats till the 2nd quarter, they were sitting close, smiling and acting like their usual selves. So they are clearly sending a message, they’re still on the same page in spite of the fact that they haven’t made an official statement yet.

As for Solange, her temper allegedly flared-up at the after-party, BEFORE she went in on her brother-n-law.  According to Us Weekly, she started yelling at designer Rachel Roy, and Beyoncé “got in the middle of it.”  As more details become available on that, I’ll keep you posted.

Unfortunately, Solange’s alleged prior behavior is starting to come to the forefront.  It has been noted, she can be a loose cannon and allegedly various music execs don’t wanna deal with her because she’s unpredictable mood swings.  Listen to Tha Wire below for more details on that now.
