Veterans Job Fair Set For Thursday June 15, 2017

If you're a retired veteran and currently in the market for employment, or just looking for a career change, you won't want to miss the upcoming job fair.  The Calcasieu Business & Career Solutions Center, located at 2424 Third Street in Lake Charles, will host a Veterans Job Fair aimed at getting our former service members back to work.  This event will take place on Thursday June 15, 2017, from 9 a.m.- noon, inside the Elcie Guillory room.

As with any job fair, first impressions are important.  Veteran job seekers are reminded to wear their best business attire, and be prepared for on the spot interviews.   Pre-registration is not a requirement, however it is a requirement to bring updated copies of a resume, and have to a valid picture ID.  Early arrival is highly recommended.  This gives job seekers an advantage of no lines, and more one-on-one time with potential employers.
