Walkons In Lake Charles Holding Fundraiser For Flood Victims This Wednesday August 24
The owner of Walkons Bistreaux & Bar in Lake Charles, C.O. Valet and his staff, will be having a fundraiser this Wednesday, August 24th, to raise money and collect items to help the flood victims in the central and East parts of Louisiana.
From 11:00 a.m. until midnight all day Wednesday, visit Walkons Bistreaux & Bar in Lake Charles, because they will donate 20% of all sales made to the people impacted by the flood disaster in Louisiana.
They will also be setting up a trailer in front of the restaurant to collect supplies, and here is what they are looking for:
Laundered clothes and Toiletries
Femine products
Baby supplies like Diapers, wipes
First aid supplies and Cleaning supplies
New underwear and socks
NON-PERISHABLE FOOD
Crying Eagle beer company will also be on hand for a launch party from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. There will also be live music on the patio from Kory Fontenot from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
So make sure whatever you do Wednesday, it includes stopping by Walkons for lunch, dinner, or even pick it up to go and help flood victims in our great state.
